At our last Floral Group meeting of 2021 we delivered 65 pretty arrangements to local hospice agencies in The Woodlands. The nurses and caregivers say the little vases are a huge boost to the morale of their patients.
TWGC Floral Group meets once a month, no floral arranging experience necessary. “Learn as you go,” says Committee Chair Sherry Copeland. We use cut flowers and greens – purchased and from members own gardens – and accessories to dress up the vases. It’s a favorite activity of the club for socializing and enjoying a nice luncheon. Kathy added: “Sat around and chatted and solved all the world’s problems (ha!).”
Next meeting is Tuesday, January 18 – all members welcome!
