Photo Gallery Meeting January 10, 2023

We welcomed back floral artist Tony Huffman who created a stunning piece “Getting Down To Your Roots” accompanied by beautiful narrative and poetry.

The hostesses served a delicious luncheon and we talked about how our gardens survived, or not, the Arctic Blast over the Christmas holiday. No horticulture table this month as a result of the freeze.

Vilma Lopez presented a study on Anthurium, a plant that symbolizes hospitality with its heart-shaped flowers, and inspires happiness and abundance.

Betty Lahiri’s snowy room decor was conceived during her white Christmas visit to St. Louis, MO, and Sharon Podolski organized a fun craft activity making snowflakes.

The Brief: important dates below. Check the meeting agenda for all pertinent club information and tons of gardening events in our area.

  • Hospice Floral Group meets at Sharon’s house on Tue, Jan 17
