The Woodlands Garden Club last meeting of the year is a festive luncheon with the installation of officers for the next term: President Bitsey Crismon, Vice President Katherine Plenger, Treasurer Sharon Podolski, and Secretary Mauri Holguin. The ceremony was conducted by Mary Barnes, a garden club founding member. Big thank you to the outgoing officers! Katherine gave Bitsey a lovely gift in recognition of her outstanding work for the club, and Bitsey presented Sally Centrich with the “Outstanding Member of the Year” award.
Betty’s room and table decorations were gorgeous and every member received a lovely plant to take home!
We had a great time socializing and enjoyed a delicious lunch!
The new board is busy planning for 2022-2023 and we are actively recruiting members for all committees. We appreciate our members input and look forward to hearing your ideas. Meanwhile be sure to check your email for summer activities. No meetings but there will be field trips and craft activities.Thanks to the board, committee chairs, and the volunteers who make The Woodlands Garden Club the best club ever!
