It’s time to prepare for the next Garden Club year 2021-22. Sabrina will be collecting $50 membership dues, and $20 for the Installation of Officers luncheon at Grotto on Wednesday, May 12th. Bring your checkbook or cash.
Horticulture: Becky will present the plant study and Viviane is setting up a virtual Horticulture Table. Please email a picture of a special plant in your garden to thewoodlandsgardenclub@gmail.com.

Connor Murnane, a forester with the Texas A&M Forest Service at the Conroe District Office will speak about the history, purpose, and future of the W.G. Jones State Forest. Located in our backyard on FM 1488, W.G. Jones State Forest is one of the nation’s largest managed urban forests. It is home to the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker.


As usual, Mary will be collecting non-perishable food for Interfaith; blankets and food for the pet shelter; and toiletries for the women’s shelter. Pick up extra hand lotion, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc when you shop. We will have delightful prizes in our drawing, and delicious food. If you are planning to bring a dish, please let Kathy know in advance.
We are working on a couple of field trips and will give you details at the meeting.

Several committee chairs need helpers for the upcoming club year. Many hands make light work: volunteering is fun and rewarding, and it’s exciting to be working with people that share your passions.
