To give our members an opportunity to preview a venue that we are considering for our meetings, TWGC hosted a “Summer Open House” to make floral arrangements for hospice agencies in our community. Thanks to Sharon Podolski for organizing the event.
Hospitality Chair Kathy Kern set out a beautiful table with desserts prepared by the attending members and we had a great time socializing and catching up on everybody’s summer activities.
TWGC Floral Group meets monthly September to May, and creates 50 to 70 small floral arrangements for hospice agencies in The Woodlands. Our members bring flowers and greenery from their gardens, we purchase flowers and local stores also donate flowers. No experience is necessary, you’ll learn as you go. We decorate the vases with bows, ribbons, and seasonal decorations.
