70 Exquisite Floral Arrangements for The Woodlands Hospice Agencies

On the 3rd Tuesday of the month The Woodlands Garden Club Floral Group meets to make small vases for local hospice agencies. The club buys flowers, stores donate flowers (thank you HEB, Kroger’s and Trader Joe’s), and members bring flowers and greenery from their garden. We deliver to the hospice and the nurses take the floral arrangements to their patients.

The meeting is an excellent opportunity for socializing, getting to know new members, enjoying great conversation, and eating – there is always delicious food. “No experience necessary, learn as you go, says Committee Chair Sherry Copeland. Bring little jars (jelly, olives, yogurt,…) – anything with a smaller mouth and not too tall.”

Showing off newly learned skills from our leaf manipulation meeting last Tuesday!

The floral arrangements are little pieces of nature brought indoors – a gift that brings beauty, peace and tranquility, and an unmistakable feeling of love and caring. Join us on November 15th!
