During the summer break, the executive board and committees plan the programs and activities for the upcoming term. Many of our members have pretty amazing talents and we could use your help. Here is a list of committees that need people like you!
School Awards: TWGC awards 5 grants to local schools to participate in gardening projects with their teachers. The committee researches the requests and administers the awards.
Craft Group: help coordinate and/or lead workshops to work on various craft projects for Club fundraisers.
Horticulture: present a plant study at the general meeting and prepare a handout. We need presenters for Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, Mar & Apr.
Hospitality: arrange refreshments for the monthly meetings and assist with room set up/take down.
Membership: sign-in meeting participants and maintain name badges; introduce new members at the meetings; and respond to new inquiries.
Member communications: email Club announcements to the membership.
Ways and Means: the committee plans and coordinates two Club fundraisers, usually in fall and spring.
Website: no html or coding experience necessary, we use WordPress. We need help with back-end management and maintenance.
