The Woodlands Garden Club’s Vilma Jurado, a member of the Society for the Advancement of Floral Design (SAFD), is one of five floral designers selected to create unique pieces inspired by Martin Weinstein’s “floating” landscapes and Jane Jones’s hyperrealist floral paintings at Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts.
Vilma’s design “Floating in the World” evokes floral clouds with layered elements. Martin Weinstein breaks down his compositions into three to four layers on clear acrylic sheet surfaces that are then combined to form a perspective spanning time.
On Friday evening PFMFA presented a live demonstration of Grand Flemish Style Arrangement Building.

Exhibits will be on display until May 8, 2022.
